Belleville Senators Raise Money to Help End Domestic Violence in Quinte
The Belleville Senators are more than just a source of entertainment; they're continuing to give back to the community through off-ice initiatives. This afternoon was spent on the golf course to help end abuse against women and children. The B-Sens hosted their first-ever Golf Classic at Black Bear Ridge Golf Course presented by Shorelines Casino Belleville which was dedicated to raising money for the Three Oaks Foundation, a not-for-profit organization which provides shelter and services for abused women and their children in the Belleville and Quinte region. The total amount raised was $25,827 through sponsorship packages, registration and a silent auction. The day was capped off with a dinner.
Chief Operating Officer Rob Mullowney, his staff and the organization have continued their support of valuable organizations in the Quinte region since their inauguration a season ago.
